Rusted Bone was done in acrylics on canvas, 36 x 48. I painted it first with a cake icing spreader and a large commercial spatula using reds and oranges over a yellow background. I then added drips and spatters in blues and reds, and added blues to the foreground area. The title is about color and shape - Rusted because of the color and Bone because of the shapes.
