I started with water-soluble graphite crayon scribbles. November Rain contains many layers of acrylic spray paint stenciling, accented by more pencil drawings and scribbles. The drips and the colors remind me of November in Tennessee, when the tree leaves have turned brown and orange and rainy periods are punctuated with days with the most startling blue skies.
